The Hoe and the Harrow tills up a style unique to our surroundings. At times drawing from the traditional sounds of Folk, Americana, and Roots Music, yet muddled with a layer of punk and grunge reminiscent of early Seattle Sound. Once harvested these lyric-driven melodies serve as food for the soul and spirit. Solemn, haunting and steeped in the rich river valley and maritime culture of their home.

Reviews of our album Blue North:
What’s Up Magazine: “There is something to be said about music that continuously, no matter how many times you listen, finds it’s way back to the top of your playlist. It falls under the same idea of a movie you could re-watch over and over again and never get tired of seeing”
